Money Matters

Contact/Find Us

Organising a programme of events like ours does not come cheap! Our concerts are subsidised to an extent by Enterprise Music Scotland, a branch of the Arts Council, and we are very grateful for the help they give us. But in addition we are expected to raise funds for ourselves.

Ticket sales raise most of these additional funds - but there is never enough money. Finding more people to come to our concerts is vital - we welcome newcomers with open arms for more than one reason! Season ticket sales let us know early in advance how much revenue we will get fom that source, but in addition some of our audience show their appreciation of the value-for-money our concerts provide by making a donation.

We think you will agree that our ticket prices are amazingly low (compare them with Glasgow prices!) and we want to keep them that way. So we hope that regular members of our audience will wish to show their appreciation by subscribing to our funds and becoming a "Friend of Beith Arts".

For a donation of £2 (or more if you wish) you can become a Friend. This means that for the current season you become a voting member and can participate fully in the Annual General Meeting, putting forward your views and casting your vote.

The extra funds from these donations, given annually, will help to ensure that Beith Arts will continue to provide music, drama and art to local residents for years to come.

You can approach any Committee member at any time to make your donation.
