Our Sunday afternoon concerts bring professional musicians to sing and play before a local audience, in a friendly and more intimate atmosphere than can ever be achieved in a large concert hall.

We meet at 2.30pm on the dates advertised, usually in Beith Community Centre in King's Road, sometimes in Trinity Church. Our guest artistes and their performance programmes are advertised on posters in libraries and shops throughout the Garnock Valley in the run up to each concert(see the Publicity link).

We hope that this season will be even better attended than the last.

25th Sep. 2011 Scottish Clarinet Quartet - "Around the World in 80 Minutes" - a selection of folk works from Asia, Europe and the Americas
16th Oct.

Nova Scotia Jazz Band -Repertoire includes Chicago style jazz of the 1920's and 1930's

27th Nov,

Coro Alba - What a treat! A very enthusiastic audience gave this group a great welcome and would have gladly detained them for another hour. We are so looking forward to the return of some of them in March for The Ivor Novello Story. Don't miss it!
29th Jan. 2012 Musical Ensemble - This was an afternoon of virtuoso performances and beautiful music. The programme was a mixture of favourite classical composers such as Bach and Debussy as well as some 20th century offerings from Poulenc and Copland. A very enjoyable concert, the audience was delighted.

26th Feb.

David Vernon & Dick Lee - These two talented musicians play accordian, clarinet and saxaphone between them and play a wide variety of music from various countries
11th March The Ivor Novello Story - Two singers, an actor and a pianist tell the story in words and song of one of the icons of the popular music world
22nd April

Aria - An exciting young group of singers who have a very varied repertoire of classical, popular and folk music. Well known in the area, they are giving us this concert as a fundraiser to help keep Beith Arts in business for a while longer.
